The theme of this year's CASPR conference, which took place May 11-13 in Charlottetown, P.E.I., was ‘Celebrate the Past, Embrace the Present and Influence the Future’.

CASPR, the Canadian Association of Staff Physician Recruiters is Canada’s national professional organization for physician recruiters.Over 60 recruiter professionals were in attendance, and the conference featured over 18 sessions including: succession planning; dealing with the difficult recruit; immigration; cultural sensitivity and more.

Prior to the two day conference, recruiters came together to participate in CASPR’s inaugural full-day 201 Fellowship Education series. Participants learned about social media, physician on-boarding, event planning and more.
