The Canadian Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (CASPR) is a non-profit association comprised of physician recruitment professionals who are employed directly by health care organizations to recruit physician for opportunities within their individual communities. CASPR has been in existence for over 10 years with membership from across Canada.

Our purpose for contacting you is both to advise you of CASPR, and invite you to consider being a member and/or to attend the 2016 Annual CASPR Conference, which will take place in Vancouver April 24-26, 2016.

The theme of the conference is “Navigating New Horizons: Innovation & Collaboration in Physician Recruitment”. The two-day conference is preceded by an educational day where national physician recruitment leaders share best practice in physician recruitment. The CASPR Education Committee has developed three educational fellowship modules (101, 201 and 301) and is actively working towards certification of these modules to lead to a Fellowship designation. The 2016 conference will include both the 201 and 301 Fellowships and there is no prerequisite to complete 101 in advance.

The conference will be held at the Four Season’s Hotel and consists of:

Sunday, April 24:

  • Concurrent 201 & 301 Fellowships
  • Evening Welcome Reception

Monday, April 25

  • Conference First Day
  • Evening Networking Social: Grouse Mountain

Tuesday, April 26

Our exciting speaker line-up will provide a pan-Canadian perspective, augmented with practical content from our CASPR membership who are subject matter experts when it comes to physician recruitment! For full details please visit the CASPR website http://caspr.ca/ or contact either of us directly.

We encourage you take advantage of this unique opportunity to receive cutting-edge information critical to success in the field of physician recruitment and retention.
