The Government of Alberta is providing Mental Health Commission of Canada training free of charge to strengthen the addiction and mental health system in Alberta.

Anyone living in Alberta who is a senior, cares for or works with seniors is eligible, including:

  • Seniors and their spouses/partners, family members, and friends and neighbours
  • Health service providers, housing providers, seniors’ centre staff
  • Volunteers who serve seniors

Additional training for instructors is available.

Mental Health First Aid Seniors training for participants and Instructors will be offered in locations across the province until March 2019.
